We navigated through the fog alongside shellfish grower Mike Mission of Little A’s Oysters, working together to plant thousands of oysters into FoBB’s protected management area in Bellport Bay. FoBB collaborated with Mike and several other local shellfish farmers as part of the Supporting Oyster Aquaculture and Restoration (SOAR) program with The Nature Conservancy, The Pew Charitable Trusts and the Gino Macchio Foundation. — December 2020
